SPERRIN MEAL GROUP 2002/2003 RULES Print Meal Group Rules
- Membership is renewable each year to Co-op members on completion of application form and payment of a commitment fee.
- The committee may terminate membership where it considers that continued membership may be to the detriment of the group.
- All members are bound by the rules.
- It is the responsibility of each member to inform himself of the rules.
- Each member shall be supplied with a copy of the rules.
- New members shall be accepted at the discretion of the committee on receipt of the completed application form and commitment fee.
- Failure to comply with any rule or rules may, at the discretion of the committee, result in membership being suspended or terminated.
- Members must not have any commitment to any particular meal firm.
- Members must be prepared to accept the best value for money tender decided by the committee.
- Information received by members will be expected to be treated as confidential.
- Minimum tonnage which can be tendered for by any member is a total of 4
tonnes.
- Unless stated otherwise minimum bulk order will be 3 tones.
- Sperrin Producers Co-operative Limited will not be liable for any debts incurred by members.
- Unless stated otherwise payment for meal received MUST be made direct to the meal firm within 30 days of delivery.
- The meal firm reserves the right to withhold supply if any member falls into arrears.
- Sperrin Producers Co-operative reserve the right to be informed by the meal firm if any member falls into arrears.
Fees
- Sperrin Meal Group is a branch of Sperrin Producers Co-operative of which you must be a member.
- A commitment fee to the Meal Group of £20 will be payable along with a completed application form and will be reimbursed at the end of the tender period, after having taken delivery of 100% - 150% of your tonnage commitment, and deemed to be credit worthy by the meal firm.
- The committee decides all fees and levies.
